It’s Christmas time again and it seems to have rolled around quicker this year for some reason. This is the time of year when I take some writer’s license to send a personal message out to my readers.
This is a particularly important Christmas for me this year and if you want to know why you have to read my article for the New Year in another week. Until then I will be busy with many of the things that we all find ourselves doing this time of year. I no longer have little children at home and so the gift giving has taken on a different flavor. No longer are my wife and I looking for the latest toy or game. Often times the gifts revolve simply around those pieces of green paper that always fit and are always the right color. I guess I miss the toy and games years, they went by so fast.
Many of my readers are mature citizens who are in my same position. Those of you who may be younger and have small children, enjoy the Christmas season. The hustle and bustle of shopping for the right gift for the kids will go by very quickly and when it’s gone, will really change the feeling on Christman morning. Enjoy it while you can.
On the other hand, now that our children are adults, I want them to know that Mon and I will now be giving them our wish list for Christmas.
